On Friendship

These two haiku poems were also written as a tribute to my birthday friend and to all of my friends wherever you guys are. I love you all and God bless you always. These were published originally in January 2016 as well in another blog of mine.

when laughter faded
when food and drinks are all gone
we’re left with our hearts

don’t say it’s too far
don’t say we don’t have the time
when friendship calling

On Birthday

The following haiku poems were inspired by a request from a friend who was having a birthday in January. She requested a poem for her birthday. I ended up giving her a couple. Finished them in 15 minutes. What can I say? It was a challenge, and plus, she’s a dear friend, an angel. So the words came out effortlessly. These were originally published in January 2016.

oh what’s a year for?
only closer to the earth
says a wise man once

oh what’s a year for?
if maturity knocking
make sure let it in

One Fighting Spirit

no wind, rain or sun
can kill the lonely spirit
inside, chasing ghost

Broken pen
your ink is no longer running
I write with my eyes and lips instead
but soon I can’t stop them
the drifting thoughts and the pulls
This head is no longer care
this body can no longer hold it together
clueless as to what next
hitting the hay is where the mind goes
and drown drown
drunk by the dancing of rain
so bouncing down the steps I go
to the land of peaceful

This piece was never posted before as well, but originally written in November 2014.

I dare not whisper your name
for I’m afraid it’ll stop the dew
from falling

I dare not touch your face
for I’m afraid it’ll break the mask
off of your face

I dare not wander out at night
for I’m afraid I’ll find you waiting
around the bend
and you will see through my eyes
that I’m still holding on

the wanting
like dead flowers
drying and crumbling

An old poem, never been published before, written in November 2014.

sweltering hot breeze
shadows hiding behind trees
your song is my lure

dangling by the thread of dew

Walking with Nature

Walking with nature
Leaving my shadow behind
I face you, my sun

New Journey

The jade shines in dark
Shining way for the lost soul
New journey begins

Opening Up Again

The sky opens up
Rain, please cleanse this battered soul!
And words will burst out
